The Climate Action Innovation Pavilion is a showcase of breakthrough ClimateTech Start-Ups from eight entry categories:

  • Sustainable Energy
  • Sustainable Buildings
  • Agri-Tech
  • Finance
  • Supply Chains
  • Transportation

Start-Ups will have the opportunity to connect with new customers, investors, commercial partners, and press attending the Climate Innovation Forum.

Start-Ups can apply to participate in the Climate Action Innovation Pavilion, Successful applicants will receive a 2m x 1.5m Expo Stand (space only) and 2 x delegate passes for the forum.

Application Process

Application to the Climate Action Innovation Pavilion are now closed.

The deadline for submissions was Friday 10th June 2022.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 17th June 2022.

There is no cost to apply or participate in the Climate Action Innovation Pavilion, applicants are chosen on the quality of their application as outlined in the judging criteria.

Climate Action Innovation Pavilion Application Form

Judging Criteria

All applications will be selected based on the following key criteria:

  • Idea Concept: Concisely and clearly explained
  • Innovation: Breakthrough in thinking or design
  • Business Viability: A significant and interesting market exists
  • Sustainability: Positive impact on the environment.

Application

Anyone looking to turn their climate technology idea into a thriving business can apply. Entrants can be sole proprietors, teams or early-stage companies. All entries must be a startup with less than £1,000,000 from private third party funding (from equity investors such as angel investors and venture capital firms) at the time of entry.

All entries must be a startup with less than £5,000,000 from all other sources of funding (grants, family and friends, and your own pocket) at the time of paying the application fee; this limit is separate from the limit on private third party funding.
