About this event

Join Unilever, Inter IKEA Group, and ERI for a dynamic 60-minute workshop exploring how Corporate Climate Transition Action Plans (CTAPs) can be better aligned with Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to accelerate progress toward shared climate and nature goals. This session will showcase real-world case studies where alignment between corporate and national transition plans has advanced decarbonisation priorities and unlocked business value. We will identify key success factors and explore practical solutions for more systematic and effective collaboration. Building on this, participants will then be invited to : Showcase their examples of alignment between corporate and national transition plans that unlocked business value and accelerated progress toward climate and nature goals; Explore the ‘next frontiers’ for collaborative action between governments and businesses: shared landscapes, materials and infrastructure critical to a sustainable transition in the value chains they operate in; Identify what is needed from whom to create better enabling conditions for aligned action – and to take forward the most promising opportunities beyond COP30. The aim of this closed-door roundtable is to produce a set of practical proof points underscoring the value of public-private sector alignment which delegates can take forward to policy discussions in Belém and a list of the ‘next frontiers’ for future collaborative action between groups of forward-looking governments and businesses. What to Expect Facilitated by ERI the session will feature: Insights from Unilever and Inter KEA Group on aligning corporate action with national policy frameworks. A spotlight on the WBCSD Landscape Accelerator Brazil initiative, demonstrating how structured collaboration can drive change. A roundtable discussion focused on scaling successful models, overcoming common blockers and identifying the ‘next frontier’ of collaborative action. Closing reflections and next steps as we move into COP. The session will draw on examples from Brazil and other countries illustrating how corporate–government partnerships are evolving in diverse contexts. Contributions from additional speakers will be confirmed shortly. Why Attend?
