Nature Metrics Piloting Stories: nature measurement in action

The Nature Positive Initiative is hosting a Roundtable to share the latest updates on the development of universal, credible and practical State of Nature Metrics. As the piloting phase wraps up, we will hear from some of the companies that have applied draft metrics at various pilot sites this year, including in Brazil, as they share their learnings. We will hear perspectives around the table on what comes next, including from global standard-setters and frameworks on embedding these metrics, as well as Multilateral Development Banks on how to scale nature finance underpinned by consensus on State of Nature metrics. An open discussion will follow on the role of these metrics in advancing nature-climate alignment ahead of and during COP30.
