As the world shifts from ambition to implementation, the Nature Positive agenda—aimed at stopping and reversing the loss of nature by 2030—must be central to the global climate response. This session, the only one fully dedicated to nature at the Climate Implementation Summit, will demonstrate how restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and regenerating landscapes are not only environmental necessities but also strategic economic opportunities. Speakers from the private sector, civil society, science, and traditional communities will discuss how a Nature Positive approach can foster a new growth model that regenerates natural capital, strengthens local and Indigenous leadership, and creates long-term value for both people and the planet, with an emphasis on the private sector’s role in financing and scaling nature-based solutions.
