Matt Kaczmarek is Managing Director, Head of Emerging Market Credit Strategy for Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock, and head of BlackRock’s Los Angeles office. Matt’s team invests in private infrastructure credit in emerging markets and developing countries to support economic growth, infrastructure resilience, and climate change mitigation. He also leads investor relations and engagement with not-for-profit and development finance partners. Prior to joining BlackRock, Matt held senior economic policy appointments in the Administration of former U.S. President Barack Obama, including on the National Security Council in the White House and at the Treasury and State Departments.
