Bringing together key stakeholders across city ecosystems
The Cities Transition Summit is a high-level, 2-day event taking place on 22 & 24 September, bringing together key stakeholders across city ecosystems for a constructive and transformational dialogue.
Cities are breathing ecosystems, vulnerable to shocks from both within and outside; pollution, flooding, social unrest, inequality, unemployment, corruption, climate change and now, pandemics.
Systemic solutions that simultaneously deliver co-benefits for climate, public health, society, and the economy strengthen city resilience and offer leverage points for city governors. With COP26 beckoning a decade of action, it is time for cities to move from systems thinking to systems action. Cities are the testbeds and trailblazers of innovation.
We need smart, targeted climate plans that hit leverage points and build community resilience.
Four Sessions Across Two Days
From policy makers, transport, buildings and waste experts to energy specialists, investors, project financers and utilities, the Summit hosts 4-parts, each specific to a key stakeholder group, but with cross cutting conversations relevant across the entire urban sector.
About Transition Summits
The Transition Summits are a collection of high-level, 2-day virtual gatherings, each focusing on a specific sector transition: Hydrogen, Industry, Transport and Energy.
The Summits bring together key stakeholders driving sustainable and net-zero transition from policy and regulation to innovation, technology and investment. This is the ideal platform for investors, project developers, policymakers and innovators to share insights and expertise on key transition trends and opportunities.
These are highly sophisticated, 4-session events hosted on a professional virtual platform designed for our audience to network, connect and explore new opportunities within these specific sector transitions.
