Andreas Winter-Extra is a Partner at KOMPAS VC. He manages the Berlin Office, overseeing investments in the DACH Region, Southern and Eastern Europe and the US. Before joining KOMPAS VC, Andreas was an investment Director at the Volvo Tech Fund before being appointed Managing Director of Smartworks Innovations, the venture capital arm of Vienna Energy Group. Andreas holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg and a joint MBA from the University of Hamburg and East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai.



Ani Dasgupta is President and CEO of World Resources Institute (WRI), where he spearheads global efforts to drive systemic change across climate, nature, and human development. Ani’s visionary leadership is defined by action to transform economies, cities, and communities for a prosperous and inclusive future. A widely recognized leader in climate policy and finance, sustainable cities, and poverty alleviation, Dasgupta has built transformative cross-sector, multinational partnerships with governments, corporations, and civil society. He brings a global perspective to ensure that environmental solutions are both scalable and equitable, and his work has been featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine and many global media outlets. He took the helm at WRI after seven years as global director of WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Under his leadership, the WRI Ross Center grew to become one of the largest programs of its kind with teams working in 150 cities, with a reach of more than four hundred cities across the globe. Prior to joining WRI in 2014, Dasgupta worked at the World Bank for nearly two decades. His work spanned urban development, poverty, and infrastructure in East Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. He served as director of knowledge and learning at the World Bank, where he developed the bank’s first knowledge strategy. He also worked extensively in the World Bank’s Jakarta office as head of infrastructure, where he was deeply engaged in post-2004 tsunami reconstruction in Aceh. His technical work at the Bank centered on community-based development, urban environment, disaster management, solid waste management, water supply, and sanitation. Originally from Delhi, India, Dasgupta developed an early interest in buildings and design. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture, with an emphasis on low-income housing, at the School of Planning and Architecture in India. He attended a special program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology focused on affordable housing and later joined the Department for Urban Planning at MIT. Dasgupta holds master’s degrees from MIT in city planning and architecture. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and has two children.



As Global Director of Sustainability & Partnerships at Google, Antonia champions company-wide sustainability and climate goals, particularly in Climate & AI, Net Zero, and scaling product solutions. Her work emphasizes collaboration with governments, NGOs, and experts for system-wide transformations. With two decades of global experience, including leadership roles at the WEF and IEA, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.



Dr Arunabha Ghosh is an internationally recognised public policy expert, author, columnist, and institution builder. He advises governments, industry, civil society, and international organisations around the world. Last year, the Government of India appointed him to the Commission for Air Quality Management. In May 2025, the Government of Brazil appointed him as a Special Envoy for COP30 climate negotiations. He currently co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on the Energy Nexus. He served on the Government of India’s G20 Finance Track Advisory Group and advised the Sherpa Track for India’s G20 Presidency in 2022-23. In 2022, the UN Secretary-General appointed him to the High-level Expert Group on the Credibility and Accountability of Net-Zero Announcements by Non-State Actors. Dr Ghosh has been a member of the UN Committee for Development Policy since 2019 (nominated by the UN Secretary-General; Vice-Chair 2023-25).



Benoit Bazin is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saint-Gobain, global leader in light and sustainable construction. He joined the company in 1999 after beginning his career at the French Ministry of Finance, and has since held senior leadership roles across France and the United States, including Chief Financial Officer, President of the Building Distribution and Construction Products Sectors, and President & CEO of CertainTeed. He became CEO in 2021 and Chairman & CEO in 2024. Benoit Bazin also serves as a Director of Vinci, where he chairs the Strategy and CSR Committee. A graduate of École Polytechnique, École des Ponts, Sciences Po, and MIT.



Bob Wigley is the Chair of UK Finance, where he represents the UK banking and finance sector with national and international government and regulators. He advises governments, supports entrepreneurs, and has spent 25 years in the banking industry, most recently as the chairman of Merrill Lynch for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and as a court member of the Bank of England during the global financial crisis. Bob is passionate about growth businesses and focuses on digital and disruptive technologies including space tech, sustainability, the metaverse, and tokenising the wholesale capital markets. He has chaired commissions for governments, including the Green Investment Bank Commission which resulted in creation of the UK’s Green Investment Bank. Bob is the author of a book about the effects of technology on Gen Z, Born Digital: The Story of a Distracted Generation.






Chris Hogg is Global Head of Public Affairs at Nestlé, based in Vevey, Switzerland. With 14+ years in corporate communications, he leads Nestlé’s global stakeholder engagement and public positioning. Previously, he headed Sustainability and Communications for Nestlé in Asia, Oceania, and Sub-Saharan Africa, implementing strategy and serving on the Board of Food Industry Asia. Earlier roles included Global Head of Content and Digital and Deputy Head of Media Relations. Before Nestlé, Chris spent 17 years at the BBC as a correspondent in the UK and Asia, covering major global events and gaining deep expertise in international affairs and storytelling.



Clarissa is a senior executive and the founding partner of Catavento. Her primary areas of expertise include the future of energy, climate change, decarbonization, and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Clarissa is a non-executive director at the Board of Directors of ArcelorMittal, chair of the Sustainability Committee and member of the Appointment, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee. She is a member of the Board of Directors at ISA Energia and of the Sustainability Committee of Suzano. She is member of the Advisory Board of CEBRI, a leading Brazilian think tank, and Chair of its Energy Program. She recently joined the Advisory Board of the Energy and Industry Transition Intelligence Program at the World Economic Forum. Clarissa is a former CEO of IBP – the Oil and Gas industry association in Brazil.



Clea Schumer is a Research Associate with WRI’s Climate Program, where she supports the research, analysis, and outreach efforts of projects focused on raising national ambition in accordance with the Paris Agreement. Specifically, Clea’s work helps to improve understanding of national and global ambition for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and uses data and analysis to inform and influence a diverse set of international climate policy stakeholders contributing to nationally determined contributions, long-term strategies, and net-zero targets. Clea also supports the Systems Change Lab’s research on transformational change required to achieve net-zero emissions. She recently served as the lead author of the Systems Change Lab’s flagship “State of Climate Action 2025” report.



Dr. Barbara Buchner is Global Managing Director of Climate Policy Initiative. Named among the 20 most influential women in climate change, she advises leaders on climate, renewable energy, and sustainable land use investments worldwide. She leads CPI’s Global Landscape of Climate Finance, the authoritative benchmark for climate finance tracking, and directs the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance, which develops instruments that overcome financing barriers in emerging markets. Lab instruments have mobilized over USD 4 billion for sustainable development. Barbara also founded and directs the San Giorgio Group, convening climate finance leaders to accelerate low-emission, sustainable economic transitions.



A pioneering spirit and an influential voice to encourage the implementation of clean and efficient solutions. One of the first, as early as the 2000s, to consider ecology through the lens of profitability, Bertrand Piccard is considered an opinion leader on the themes of innovation and sustainability. Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation, he promotes qualitative growth by demonstrating the economic potential of clean technologies. Denouncing the absurdity of polluting and inefficient systems that are still too often used today, he advocates for the modernization of the legal framework in order to facilitate access to the market for efficient solutions. Guido Schmidt-Traub is Partner at Systemiq Ltd. where he drives work on nature and climate finance, adaptation, value chain and country transitions. Previously he served as Executive Director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, which supports the design and implementation of the SDGs and the Paris Agreement. He was CEO of CDC Climate Asset Management and Partner at South Pole Carbon Asset Management. As Associate Director of the UN Millennium Project he has advised governments on development and financing frameworks. He holds a PhD in Economics, an M.Phil. in Economics, and a Masters in Physical Chemistry.



Pavan Chilukuri brings over two decades of international leadership across the energy, industrials, and infrastructure sectors, specializing in decarbonization, CCUS, e-fuels, and large-scale capital project development. He has built and led multi-billion-dollar low-carbon portfolios, translating advanced technologies into commercially viable solutions and shaping investment strategies for energy transition. Known for aligning innovation with strategic imperatives, Pavan has worked extensively with governments, NOCs, and global enterprises to design practical decarbonization pathways. With a PhD in Process Design and an MBA from Duke and HEC Paris, he continues to help industries turn sustainability goals into bankable, long-term growth opportunities.



Edwina is Executive Vice President, Corporate Engagement, for Emergent, the non-profit coordinator of the LEAF Coalition. Edwina leads Emergent’s work with corporations, providing a reputable and trusted way to drive impact at scale by supporting government-led programs to tackle deforestation across entire countries or regions. Edwina has over 15 years of experience working with the private sector to integrate responsible and resilient business practices through multi-stakeholder partnerships and impact-driven solutions. She has worked in corporate, non-profit, and advisory roles. Immediately prior to Emergent she facilitated collaborative initiatives for BSR focused on collective action in commodity supply chains for sustainable outcomes in high risk sourcing landscapes.



Elbia is an economist with a PhD in Industrial Economics. She has led ABEEólica for 14 years, advocating for Brazil’s energy transition and playing a key role in the development of renewable energy. Elbia is a mother of three and an active voice in the global dialogue on diversity and economic inclusion within the energy sector. In 2019, she received the “CEE – Clean Energy Education & Empowerment – Woman of Distinction Award,” an international initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial and the International Energy Agency. In 2024, she was honored with the “Todas” Prize in the Clean Energy category by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo. In 2025, she received the Top of the Year – Energy Leaders award in the Executive Leadership category for the Electric Power Sector. Elbia also serves as Brazil’s Global Ambassador for the Women in Wind Global Leadership Program (GWEC-GWNET), an initiative designed to accelerate the careers of women in the wind energy industry. With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Elbia has held positions at CCEE, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Finance, and ANEEL. As an academic, she has published books and articles, and is a recognized expert in Electricity Market Regulation, a field she has worked in since 1997.



Eron has been a pioneer in the development of carbon markets, as the creator of one of the largest carbon funds in the world, an exchange-listed fund (ETF) on the New York Stock Exchange. He has also advised governments, multilateral institutions, and international corporations on many aspects of the carbon and environmental markets. With extensive experience in the areas of climate finance and carbon markets, Eron has worked on several carbon market milestones, including the first Kyoto (CDM) project in the world to receive issuance of carbon credits. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University, where he was part of the inaugural faculty of the MSc in Sustainability Management at the Earth Institute.



Grazielle Parenti is Vale’s Executive Vice President of Sustainability (non-statutory), with more than 30 years of experience in sustainability, corporate relations, government affairs, international relations, communications, community engagement, agribusiness, and diversity & inclusion. Before joining Vale, she held leadership positions in global companies such as Syngenta, BRF, Mondelez, Diageo, and DSM. Bloomberg has recognized her as one of the leading business figures in Latin America. She is an active member of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) and the Women Corporate Directors network. Parenti has a degree in business administration from FGV/EAESP, an MBA in marketing from FIA/USP, and a specialization in public policy management from FGV. She has also completed executive courses at national and international institutions.














James is the Managing Director of the Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA), a global multistakeholder collaboration hosted by Mission Possible Partnership and launched at COP28 by the COP28 Presidency, UNCCC, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. The ITA aims to significantly grow the pipeline of commercial-scale, clean industrial projects across heavy industry and transport. Prior to the ITA, James advised Rabobank’s CEO and Board to establish its presence in energy-related international fora. In Shell, as Vice President for Strategy and Planning, James drove the launch of the company’s internal energy transition planning process, research into sectoral decarbonisation of the global economy, and the translation of Shell’s transition strategy into climate targets and external engagement. Prior to Shell, James worked for both the BBC and at the UN in Paris. James has a Masters in Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques and a Law degree from Manchester University, UK.

Jóhanna Hlín is the Director of Climate and Sustainability at Landsvirkjun, the National Power Company of Iceland, and a Sustainability Engineer. She leads Landsvirkjun’s sustainability strategies, social and environmental impacts and contributions. Landsvirkjun has over recent years earned both national and international recognition for best practices in managing environmental and climate-related impacts. Jóhanna is a board member of UN Global Compact Iceland, where she actively supports global sustainability initiatives. Driven by the belief that responsible, renewable energy generation is crucial to address today’s climate challenges, she is committed to doing her part in realizing a sustainable future.

Jui Joshi began her career as an IT engineer before transitioning to the social development sector, where she has accumulated over a decade of experience. A Senior Partner at Climate Collective – Pretty much the largest enterprise support organisation in South Asia supporting Climatetech startups (1270 startups supported). We run market accelerators, corporate deployment programs, capital funding platforms, events and community activities and other tools and services (www.climatecollective.net). She is a trainer and has mentored numerous early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs across South Asia. Jui is passionate about the intersectionality of gender and climate and spearheads the Women in Climate Entrepreneurship initiative. She also leads the impact assessment vertical, enabling climate tech startups to measure and report their impact effectively to attract impact capital. She also heads the Climate Startup School and is currently developing an open content platform to support the broader ecosystem. Jules Kortenhorst is the CEO of Bridge Carbon, one of the largest carbon market developers focused on clean cooking and nature-based solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. As the CEO of Bridge Carbon, he has overseen a large commitment to strengthen the quality, integrity and transparency of the carbon markets, as a mechanism to bring more climate capital to countries in Africa and Asia. Prior to joining Bridge Carbon Jules was a partner at Vision Ridge Partners, a sustainable real assets investor that seeks to capitalize on the global transition to sustainability. In the decade before, Jules served as the CEO of RMI (formerly Rocky Mountain Institute), a leading energy transition NGO that works to transform global energy use to secure a clean, prosperous net-zero future for all. Under his leadership RMI grew from 50 to over 600 staff and expanded globally.






Laia Romero is a climate scientist and the co-founder and managing director of Lobelia Earth, a Barcelona-based company using satellite technology and advanced software development to turn climate and nature data into actionable strategies. With a background in Physical Oceanography, Laia has substantial experience in radar satellite systems and in deploying and executing large-scale operational services. Her work connects the dots between high-resolution environmental data and real-world impact, helping reinsurance companies, investment firms, engineering firms, infrastructure operators, NGOs, and public administrations to identify climate risks, protect ecosystems, and build resilience.






Lord Turner chairs the Energy Transitions Commission, a global coalition of major power and industrial companies, investors, environmental NGOs and experts working out achievable pathways to limit global warming to 1.5C – or well below 2˚C – by 2040 while stimulating economic development and social progress. In addition, he is Chairman of Chubb Europe and on the Advisory Board of Envision Energy. From 2008-2013, Lord Turner chaired the UK’s Financial Services Authority, and played a leading role in the post crisis redesign of global banking and shadow banking regulation.


















Nick Robins is Senior Director for Finance and the Private Sector at the World Resources Institute. He has over 30 years experience of sustainable development and climate action. He is special adviser to the LSE’s Just Transition Finance Lab and co-founder of Carbon Tracker and Planet Trackr. He has worked at HSBC, Henderson Global Investors and the UN.
