At COP31, the Forum will convene 2,000 industry leaders to accelerate real-economy implementation, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and advance the Global Action Agenda. Across the Main Stage and Action Stage, dedicated programmes on Climate Finance, Electrification and Africa will drive high-impact discussions focused on investable, scalable and measurable action.

Our Mission

Uniting global leaders across business, finance and policy at COP to accelerate implementation at scale

For 19 years Climate Action has convened business, finance and government alongside the UN climate negotiations. The Innovation Zone gives the real economy its own venue at COP31, with the Sustainable Innovation Forum as its flagship. Returning to COP for a 6th year as a key platform for cross-sector collaboration bringing together 4,000 global stakeholders committed to climate action and the delivery of the Global Action Agenda. Organised by Climate Action and run independently of the COP31 Blue and Green Zones, it is a premium, dynamic space dedicated to driving implementation at scale.

Dedicated COP31 Shuttle Service

A dedicated COP31 Blue Zone and Green Zone shuttle bus service will operate for official COP31 badge holders, providing convenient transport between designated between the offiical COP31 Blue & Green Zone locations and the Sueno Hotel Convention and Meeting Center, the Climate Action Innovation Zone. Attendees should ensure they have their official COP31 badge with them when using the COP31 shuttle bus service. Further details, including shuttle bus routes, pick-up points, operating hours and frequency, will be published by COP31 presidency closer to the event.

Climate Action has been at the intersection of climate change policy, innovation and sustainable finance since 2007, working in formal partnerships with multiple UN Agencies and key stakeholder groups to create and deliver high impact forums, digital content and the climateaction.org platform. Our flagship event, the Sustainable Innovation Forum, is the leading independent business-focused event at the annual UN COP meetings, and since COP26 in Glasgow we have organised the Innovation Zone alongside the annual COP negotiations. The Climate Action Innovation Zone offers powerful, purpose-driven platforms, bridging pre-COP mobilisation with in-COP implementation, championing the role of real economy actors. The content will align with the Global Climate Action Agenda including the COP31 Presidency’s 10 Priority Areas and serve as engines for collaboration, visibility and real-world impact.
