Aaron Morales


Aaron Morales
Aaron Morales is the Head of ESG Business Development for the UK, Iberia and LatAm at S&P Global Sustainable1, a group within S&P Global that brings together ESG and Climate data, analytics, evaluations, and indices from across S&P’s divisions. Prior to joining S&P Global, Aaron worked as a Business Development Manager of ESG data management technology solutions at UL, helping companies manage and aggregate sustainability data. Before that, Aaron worked as consultant at a boutique sustainability consultancy firm in Mexico helping companies develop sustainability strategies. Aaron started his career at Robert Bosch’s HQ in Germany, where he conducted scientific research on hydrogen fuel cells.
Aaron holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Systems from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), an MS in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Adrie Heinsbroek

Adrie Heinsbroek is Principal Responsible Investment Specialist in the Responsible Investment (RI) team at NN Investment Partners (NN IP). He has been working in the field of corporate responsibility and responsible investing since 1996. Adrie has always been active in the area of integrating sustainability or sustainable factors into the investment decision making process.
First at a privately owned asset manager and later at ING Bank’s Investment Office, Adrie focused on selecting investment funds that integrate ESG factors and increasing client awareness of the relevance of ESG. From analysing sustainable strategies and methodologies he switched to the strategic Sustainability department at ING Bank in Amsterdam and railed a few years later to Brussel to steer the sustainability agenda of ING Belgium. In 2017 Adrie started at NN Investment Partners to provide guidance to the Responsible Investment team to further embed the integration of ESG-factors in the investment processes and to the active ownership responsibilities, by empowering colleagues and clients. Adrie is determined to make NNIP a leader in Responsible Investing.

Adrien Perret is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique and French national school of statistics (ENSAE). He also holds a master’s degree in economics from Paris School of Economics. He began his career in 2008 at the French national institute of statistics and economic studies (Insee). He joined the French Treasury in 2011, where he held several positions (financial sector analysis, public finances, macro forecasting, public policy analysis). Before integrating the FRR management board in July 2023, he was deputy director for social policies at the French Treasury.

Aiaze Mitha
Aiaze has worked in Fintech/Tech in 40+ countries and advised many international organizations such as the UN, the World Bank and IFC. He is currently leading a joint UNCDF/UNDP program focusing on Fintech innovations and ecosystems for financing the SDGs. Previously, Aiaze managed a coalition of global digital platforms (wealth management, e-commerce, banks, payments) harnessing AI/tech to enable greener choices for their users. Aiaze was also a Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary General’s Task Force on Digital Financing of the SDGs and was leading a global Dialogue platform seeking to align the governance of BigFintechs with the SDGs.
Prior to that, Aiaze was Chief Officer at Tiaxa, a digital lending Fintech primarily in Africa but also Latin America and Asia. Aiaze is the vice-chair of GIFT, a global impact fintech forum, and sits on the Board of several Fintech startups.

Alain Deckers


Alain Deckers
Alain Deckers has over 20 years of experience in public service at the European Commission. He has been responsible for policy reviews and policy development in areas including trade in goods, environmental policy, public procurement and financial services regulation.
He currently heads a team of responsible for the regulation of asset management and investment funds.
Alain graduated in physics and holds a masters in the economics of technical change, both from the University of Manchester (UK).

Aleksandra Palinska is the Executive Director of Eurosif, the European Sustainable Investment Forum, the leading pan-European Sustainable and Responsible Investment association advocating for a more sustainable financial system. It works as a partnership of European national Sustainable Investment Forums (SIFs).
She is a seasoned professional with nearly fifteen years of experience in EU public policy and regulation. Her expertise covers sustainable finance, financial markets regulation, company law and corporate governance. Since 2019 her focus has been on driving sustainability through financial markets.

Amit Bando
During a career spanning three decades, Amit Bando has conducted economic analyses and business case assessments while leading global initiatives on clean energy and climate change, green finance, water security, forestry/natural resource and land use management. A proven leader in motivating talented and diverse staff in multicultural environments, he also specializes in evaluation and policy design to provide results-focused, human centered, science-based and market-driven solutions for sustainable impact. Amit has pioneered the use of economic instruments for environmental protection and helped Fortune 100 firms understand development-finance issues.
Amit has developed new analytical techniques to evaluate projects for the UN IPCC and designed 30+ clean energy projects across 25 nations. Using the Equator Principles, in consultation with locally affected communities, he has secured funds from commercial banks and investors in the cement, pulp & paper, steel, sugar and textile sectors to focus on social/community standards and responsibility that include robust standards for indigenous peoples and labor groups. The Equator Principles have helped spur the development of responsible environmental and social management practices in the financial sector and banking industry. Working for USAID, NASA and other U.S. Government agencies, he has provided expert analysis related to minority, women and under-represented populations by advising on program design and implementation plans while also coordinating ministerial-level decisions on sector-specific energy policies, regulations and standards to promote financing of clean energy and energy efficiency initiatives for G-20 and more than 40 other nations.
Amit was a Senior Advisor in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has worked for Winrock International, the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation, the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) as well as for the Asian Development Bank and The World Bank. A popular speaker at global forums, he has authored several publications including the widely used Economic Evaluation of Environmental Impacts.

Andrew Dyson

Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.
Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).
Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.

Andrew Grant

Andrew is a Vice President at Moody’s, where he covers methodologies for climate change products with a focus on transition risk. He was previously Co-Head of Research at Carbon Tracker Initiative, a non-profit think tank that looks at the financial implications of the energy transition for investor audiences, and led oil and gas and mining sector coverage. He also acted as a Senior Advisor on climate change to Critical Resource, a boutique management consultancy specialising in managing stakeholder challenges. Andrew formerly worked at Barclays Natural Resources Investments, a private equity department of Barclays that committed capital across a range of commodities and related industries, and has prior experience in remuneration and corporate governance at New Bridge Street LLP. Andrew holds a degree in Chemistry & Law from the University of Bristol.
