Aaron Morales
S&P Global Sustainable1
Aaron Morales is the Head of ESG Business Development for the UK, Iberia and LatAm at S&P Global Sustainable1, a group within S&P Global that brings together ESG and Climate data, analytics, evaluations, and indices from across S&P’s divisions. Prior to joining S&P Global, Aaron worked as a Business Development Manager of ESG data management technology solutions at UL, helping companies manage and aggregate sustainability data. Before that, Aaron worked as consultant at a boutique sustainability consultancy firm in Mexico helping companies develop sustainability strategies. Aaron started his career at Robert Bosch’s HQ in Germany, where he conducted scientific research on hydrogen fuel cells.
Aaron holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Systems from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), an MS in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.



Adrie Heinsbroek
NN Investment Partners
Adrie Heinsbroek is Principal Responsible Investment Specialist in the Responsible Investment (RI) team at NN Investment Partners (NN IP). He has been working in the field of corporate responsibility and responsible investing since 1996. Adrie has always been active in the area of integrating sustainability or sustainable factors into the investment decision making process.
First at a privately owned asset manager and later at ING Bank’s Investment Office, Adrie focused on selecting investment funds that integrate ESG factors and increasing client awareness of the relevance of ESG. From analysing sustainable strategies and methodologies he switched to the strategic Sustainability department at ING Bank in Amsterdam and railed a few years later to Brussel to steer the sustainability agenda of ING Belgium. In 2017 Adrie started at NN Investment Partners to provide guidance to the Responsible Investment team to further embed the integration of ESG-factors in the investment processes and to the active ownership responsibilities, by empowering colleagues and clients. Adrie is determined to make NNIP a leader in Responsible Investing.



Aiaze Mitha
UNCDF
Aiaze has worked in Fintech/Tech in 40+ countries and advised many international organizations such as the UN, the World Bank and IFC. He is currently leading a joint UNCDF/UNDP program focusing on Fintech innovations and ecosystems for financing the SDGs. Previously, Aiaze managed a coalition of global digital platforms (wealth management, e-commerce, banks, payments) harnessing AI/tech to enable greener choices for their users. Aiaze was also a Senior Advisor to the UN Secretary General’s Task Force on Digital Financing of the SDGs and was leading a global Dialogue platform seeking to align the governance of BigFintechs with the SDGs.
Prior to that, Aiaze was Chief Officer at Tiaxa, a digital lending Fintech primarily in Africa but also Latin America and Asia. Aiaze is the vice-chair of GIFT, a global impact fintech forum, and sits on the Board of several Fintech startups.



Alain Deckers
European Commission
Alain Deckers has over 20 years of experience in public service at the European Commission. He has been responsible for policy reviews and policy development in areas including trade in goods, environmental policy, public procurement and financial services regulation.
He currently heads a team of responsible for the regulation of asset management and investment funds.
Alain graduated in physics and holds a masters in the economics of technical change, both from the University of Manchester (UK).



Amit Bando
Ceres
During a career spanning three decades, Amit Bando has conducted economic analyses and business case assessments while leading global initiatives on clean energy and climate change, green finance, water security, forestry/natural resource and land use management. A proven leader in motivating talented and diverse staff in multicultural environments, he also specializes in evaluation and policy design to provide results-focused, human centered, science-based and market-driven solutions for sustainable impact. Amit has pioneered the use of economic instruments for environmental protection and helped Fortune 100 firms understand development-finance issues.
Amit has developed new analytical techniques to evaluate projects for the UN IPCC and designed 30+ clean energy projects across 25 nations. Using the Equator Principles, in consultation with locally affected communities, he has secured funds from commercial banks and investors in the cement, pulp & paper, steel, sugar and textile sectors to focus on social/community standards and responsibility that include robust standards for indigenous peoples and labor groups. The Equator Principles have helped spur the development of responsible environmental and social management practices in the financial sector and banking industry. Working for USAID, NASA and other U.S. Government agencies, he has provided expert analysis related to minority, women and under-represented populations by advising on program design and implementation plans while also coordinating ministerial-level decisions on sector-specific energy policies, regulations and standards to promote financing of clean energy and energy efficiency initiatives for G-20 and more than 40 other nations.
Amit was a Senior Advisor in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has worked for Winrock International, the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation, the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) as well as for the Asian Development Bank and The World Bank. A popular speaker at global forums, he has authored several publications including the widely used Economic Evaluation of Environmental Impacts.



Andrew Dyson
ISLA
Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.
Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).
Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.



Andrew Grant
Moody’s
Andrew is a Vice President at Moody’s, where he covers methodologies for climate change products with a focus on transition risk. He was previously Co-Head of Research at Carbon Tracker Initiative, a non-profit think tank that looks at the financial implications of the energy transition for investor audiences, and led oil and gas and mining sector coverage. He also acted as a Senior Advisor on climate change to Critical Resource, a boutique management consultancy specialising in managing stakeholder challenges. Andrew formerly worked at Barclays Natural Resources Investments, a private equity department of Barclays that committed capital across a range of commodities and related industries, and has prior experience in remuneration and corporate governance at New Bridge Street LLP. Andrew holds a degree in Chemistry & Law from the University of Bristol.



Angélica Afanador
Guidehouse | Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF)
Angélica Afanador is Director at Guidehouse advising financial institutions on the transition of their financial portfolios to net-zero emissions. She is also the Program Manager of the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF), an initiative that enables banks and investors to measure the emissions associated with loans and investments.
Angélica combines strategy consulting experience with expertise in sustainable and climate finance. With more than 16 years’ experience, Angélica has a track record of advising clients on their decarbonization journey.
Her most notable recent work centers on working with financial institutions on assessing the climate impact of their loans and investments, setting targets that align their portfolios with the Paris Climate Agreement, and identify pragmatic actions that would help financial institutions achieve the targets. Throughout this journey, she helps financial institutions find new and attractive products to offer to their clients, enabling the realization that financing the global transition to a net zero emissions economy can be compatible with their financial goals. Angélica co-developed a harmonized framework to set science-based targets for the financial industry and leads Guidehouse’s work on net[1]zero journey for financial institutions.
Angélica is author of several publications on climate and sustainability issues. Prior to joining Guidehouse, she spent half a decade working in international climate and energy projects in Latin America, Africa and Asia with the World Bank and the United Nations.



Anthony Belcher
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)
Anthony is VP, Sustainable Finance Data at ICE Data Services at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). ICE is a Fortune 500 company and a leading operator of global exchanges, clearing houses and a provider of data and listings services.
In this role, Anthony is responsible for developing and delivering ICE’s data strategy surrounding sustainable finance. He works with financial market participants to support their, and their client’s, sustainable finance goals in areas such as ESG investing, managing climate risk, and environmental markets.
He was previously Head of Fixed Income & Data Services, EMEA, where he drove the growth and success of the ICE Data Services business in the EMEA region.
Anthony joined ICE in December 2015 as part of the acquisition of Interactive Data by ICE. At Interactive Data Anthony held several positions including Managing Director for Strategy and Product Management.
Anthony is a member of FCA’s Climate Financial Risk Forum (CFRF), Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), The City UK Green and Sustainable Finance Group. He also co-chairs the ICE Sustainable Finance Working Group.
Anthony holds an MBA from London Business School and Bachelor of Science (BSc), Chemistry from the University of Sheffield.

Antoine Pradayrol
Green Angel Syndicate
Antoine is an experienced early-stage climate tech investor. Since 2019, he has been leading the development of the GAS Climate Change Fund (EIS) and he chairs its Investment Advisory Committee. Since 2015, he has built a portfolio of 25 angel investments across the energy transition sector, clean transportation and smart cities, energy efficiency solutions, circular economy, robotics, and ed-tech. In addition, he is actively supporting founders as part of Imperial Venture Mentoring Service, as Non-executive director of Zedify, and formerly as Board observer of AirEx. Prior to joining GAS in 2017, Antoine had more than 15 years of experience in finance, as an equity research analyst covering the telecom sector. He was an Executive Director and partner with Exane BNP Paribas, based in Paris initially and in London since 2005. Antoine is passionate about companies applying innovative technologies to tackle climate change. He studied at Ecole Polytechnique (x90) and Telecom Paris Tech (1995), with respective majors in economics & finance, and technology & telecoms.



Barnaby Wiener
MFS Investment Management
Barnaby Wiener is an investment officer and equity portfolio manager and the head of sustainability and stewardship for MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). He manages the firm’s Prudent Wealth, Prudent Capital and Prudent Investor strategies and serves as a portfolio manager on the firm’s Managed Wealth strategy, an alternative strategy run by a committee of the firm’s portfolio managers. He is also responsible for continuing to integrate sustainability across our investment platform. He is based in London.
Barnaby joined the firm as a research analyst in 1998. He assumed portfolio management duties in 2003 and took on the head of sustainability and stewardship role in 2020. He also served as director of European research from 2003 to 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he was an equity research analyst at both Merrill Lynch and Crédit Lyonnais. Before that, he served as a captain in the British Army.
Barnaby is a graduate of Ampleforth College and Oxford University.



Bastian Buck
Global Reporting Initiative
Bastian is leading the team that develops the GRI Standards, the most widely used global sustainability reporting standards with over 10,000 companies across more than 100 countries applying the GRI Standards in their reporting.
He is the spokesperson for the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB).
Bastian has 15+ years’ experience in sustainability reporting standard setting across the whole spectrum of economic, environmental, social and governance topics and a proven track-record in facilitating consensus-seeking processes in global multi-stakeholder settings.
Bastian has public-speaking and stakeholder engagement experience in more than 45 countries.
He is a graduate of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Master of Science, Business Administration) and Maastricht University (Bachelor of Science, Economics).
