Allyson Anderson Book is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Baker Hughes, an energy and industrial technology company that provides solutions for energy and industrial customers worldwide. In this role she oversees Baker Hughes’ net-zero strategy by driving sustainable operations and new energy transition solutions for customers. Before joining Baker Hughes, Allyson served as the executive director of the American Geosciences Institute, and has held several academic, policy and senior government positions. Allyson is frequently covered by media and globally recognized for her contribution to energy transition and sustainability. She was among the industry pioneers honored by Hart Energy as an ‘Agent of Change in Energy’ and the only CSO to be listed among “Top 10 Energy Leaders in the Americas” by Energy Digital. She has also been recognized by Petroleum Economist among Top 10 Women Leading Energy Transition and among 25 Influential Women in Energy by Oil & Gas Investor.


Ambroise Fayolle
Ambroise Fayolle was appointed Vice-President of the European Investment Bank in February 2015. He is currently responsible for climate action, just transition, and energy efficiency for SMEs. He is also responsible for funding and treasury of the EIB and is Board member of the European Investment Fund. In addition, he oversees the EIB’s activities in France, as well as in many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Pacific Ocean. Graduate from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), he spent most of his career in various positions at the French Treasury Department and in the IMF and the World Bank, including as a Board member of the two institutions for 8 years

Arjun Dutt
Arjun Dutt is a public policy professional working to accelerate the flow of affordable finance towards sustainability in emerging economies. He develops financial solutions to address bottlenecks in the flow of capital. These include fit-for-purpose financial instruments to mitigate investment risks, data-driven analyses that informs policymaking as well as inputs on sustainable finance regulation. At the Council on Energy, Environment and Water’s Green Finance Centre, Arjun’s work focusses on renewable energy, electric mobility, sustainable finance regulation, carbon markets, intergovernmental platforms for sustainable finance and international climate change negotiations. He was a special invitee to the Taxonomy Working Group under the aegis of the Taskforce on Sustainable Finance convened by India’s Ministry of Finance. He is also a member of the International Financial Services Centres Authority’s (IFSCA) Expert Committee on Voluntary Carbon Markets.

Previously worked at GVces (FGV’s Center for Sustainability Studies) and ICE, at the time of the launch of the Alliance for Impact Investment and Business in Brazil. Holds a bachelor in Sustainable Business Administration from FGV-EAESP. Brazilian, but with a Peruvian mother and German family, appreciate multicultural environments and looks forward to the connection between Brazil and Latin America.

Dr. Guido Schmidt-Traub
Dr. Guido Schmidt-Traub is Partner of Systemiq Ltd, the global system change company. He was Managing Partner from 2021-2024. His work focuses on finance, adaptation, value chain and country transitions, working with investors, companies, governments, and civil society organizations. Guido serves on several boards. Previously he was Executive Director of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, CEO of Paris-based CDC Climate Asset Management, Partner at South Pole Carbon Asset Management, Climate Change Advisor to Kofi Annan’s Africa Progress Panel, head of the UNDP MDG Support Team, and Associate Director of the UN Millennium Project. He holds a PhD in Economics from Wageningen University, an M.Phil. in Economics from Oxford University, and a Masters in Physical Chemistry from the Free University of Berlin.


Dr. Jennifer Blanke
Jennifer Blanke, a partner at Morphosis Solutions, is an expert on economic growth and development finance who serves on the boards of various development and impact investment focused entities. She was previously Vice President Agriculture, Human and Social Development at the African Development Bank Group, responsible for overseeing the Bank’s strategy, lending and other activities in this area. Prior to that she was Chief Economist at the World Economic Forum, overseeing economic research and risk-related activities. Before joining the World Economic Forum, Dr Blanke worked as a management consultant for Eurogroup Consulting in Paris, France, where she specialized in banking and financial market organization. She has written and lectured extensively on issues related to national competitiveness and economic development. Dr Blanke holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, New York, and an MA and PhD in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute. She was until 2019 a member of the Canadian Government’s Council of Economic Growth.

Dr. Ma Jun is the Founder and President of Institute of Finance and Sustainability, Chairman of Sprinkles (HK) Charity Foundation, Chairman of Green Finance Committee of China Society for Finance and Banking, Chairman of Hong Kong Green Finance Association, Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Green Investment Principles for the Belt & Road, Chairman of the Capacity-building Alliance of Sustainable Investment (CASI), and Co-Chair of IPSF Taxonomy Working Group. In the past years, Dr. Ma served as Co-Chair of G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group (SFWG), and chairs of two workstreams of the Central Banks and Supervisors’ Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS).


Dr. Pradeep Kurukulasuriya
Pradeep Kurukulasuriya is the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Capital Development Fund. He is a Sri Lankan economist with a PhD from Yale University in the United States. Prior to joining UNCDF, Pradeep was the Executive Coordinator of Environment Finance at UNDP where he oversaw a US$ 5 billion environment, climate and energy portfolio across 140 countries and provided strategic leadership of partnerships with the multilateral environment and climate funds, as well as with the private sector, development banks, and private equity funds related to climate finance. From 2019-2023, Pradeep led UNDP’s Nature, Climate, and Energy Practice, with 300+ personnel across headquarters and 5 Regional Hubs. Previously, he led the development and oversight of UNDP’s Climate Change Adaptation portfolio, and as the senior technical lead in the Global Environmental Finance team from 2010-2018, he played a key role in the trebling of UNDP’s resource mobilization efforts for nature, climate and energy. Prior to joining UNDP in 2006, he worked with the World Bank and an NGO in Sri Lanka.


Dr. Rosana Santos
Dr. Rosana Santos is an electrical engineer from Poli/USP. She holds a master’s and a doctorate in energy, also from USP, and is a volunteer professor in several postgraduate courses. She is currently the Executive Director of the E+ Energy Transition Institute. She is a member of the Energy Policy Council of the State of São Paulo and INETTT (International Network of Think Tanks in Energy Transition), as well as a member of CEET (UN Council of Engineers in Energy Transition). She has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, both in the private and public sectors. She was an executive at companies such as Enel, Alstom/GE and EDP, and was a member of Abeeólica for 13 years. In the early 2000s, she was a project coordinator at the Ministry of Mines and Energy. She worked as a researcher at FGV Ceri, the University of Oldenburg (Germany), Imperial College London and CIRED Paris.

Appointed as Chairman at Carbon Chamber (Ag Ministry). He is also working as the executive board member at Brazil Climate Forest Agriculture Coalition.

Hans Bogaard is a Director at FMO – Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank, overseeing Agribusiness, Food & Forestry Finance. Prior to this role and tenure as manager since 20217 at FMO, Hans held several positions at Rabobank, including Head Agribusiness Rabo Development from 2009 to July 2017 and Director responsible for agri commodity finance in Central/Eastern Europe from 2003 to 2009. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Banker at EBRD, Executive M&A at Rabobank London Branch, and Senior Project Manager for agri-project finance at Rabobank International. Hans holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University & Research and completed VWO at Melanchthon.


Hui Cao
Ms. Hannah Cao joined Silk Road Fund in 2015 and currently serves as its General Counsel. She oversees the fund’s legal, compliance and risk management functions, and sits on its Sustainable Investment Committee. Prior to joining Silk Road Fund, Ms. Cao practiced law with international law firms in New York and Beijing. Early in her career, she worked at the International Business Department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Headquarters in Beijing. She was recognized by Financial Times as FT Global GC 25 in 2018 and by Chambers and Partners as Global Influencer 100 in 2019, and received from China Law and Business Journal an award of 2021 Top Environmental and Renewable Energy In-house Counsel. Ms. Cao received a BA in International Economics from Peking University, a MA in International Relations from Yale University and a Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Brooklyn Law School.

Jack Hurd serves as the Executive Director of the Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA) leading its work in supporting the ongoing transition to deforestation and conversion-free production, sourcing and financing of globally-traded agricultural commodities. Jack also serves as Head of the World Economic Forum’s Earth Systems Agenda, which is focused on the conservation, sustainable management and restoration of the Earth’s terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems. Jack brings to World Economic Forum 30 years of experience in climate change, sustainable management of natural resources, biodiversity conservation and community economic development. He has worked extensively in the tropics, with an emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region, and has held senior leadership positions with Conservation International (CI), The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington. Jack is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Leslie Maasdorp is CEO of British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution. He was previously Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the New Development Bank, based in Shanghai, for nine years. Over the past 25 years he held senior leadership positions at global financial institutions, including serving as International Advisor to Goldman Sachs, Vice Chairman of Barclays Capital and President of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in South Africa.
